Chief AI Officer Services

AI has landed on your desk. You have two problems, and only one of them is the technology.

For CEOs who want a Chief AI Officer: someone who learns your business, assesses the threats and opportunities AI brings, and builds both AI and human practices into your company and your products, so you lead your market and your people reach their full potential.

If you run a company right now, you’re carrying a question nobody else in the building can answer for you: what do we do about AI?

Your board wants a strategy. Your competitors are announcing pilots. Vendors fill your inbox with tools that promise everything. And somewhere below you, your people are quietly afraid: of being replaced, of falling behind, of a future no one has explained to them. They nod in meetings, and then nothing moves.

So you’ve tried things. A pilot that impressed in the demo and died in the workflow. A consultant who left you a deck. An app nobody uses. Maybe you’ve even considered the move everyone whispers about: cut headcount and let the machines do the work.

Here is what most CEOs discover too late

You have two problems, and only one of them is the technology.

The one you already know

The technology has to come in, and it has to come in the right way. Done wrong, it is a loss: money spent, good people gone, and a company that moves slower than before. Done right, it was never about replacing your people. It is about making them more capable than they have ever been.

The one nobody tells you

You hired and trained your people to run a process. You now run a business where the work is people serving people, inside and out. The habit of working with each other, serving each other, saying what is stuck and handling their own moods was never cultivated, because it was never anyone’s job. AI does not fix that. AI amplifies it. Drop it into a team where trust is thin, requests are vague and problems go unspoken, and you get the same friction, only faster and more expensive.

For a hundred years we paid people to work like parts of a machine. That deal began in 1911 and ended in 2023. The machine has arrived, and it will do the machine’s work: finding knowledge, making knowledge, moving information. What it cannot do is take responsibility, care, judge, and work together. That is now the whole job of your people, and almost no one has trained them for it.

The five things

Five things you have to get right, or the rest is a loss.

  1. Shift One

    Upgrade, don’t replace.

Every dollar you put into AI makes a person more capable, or it is wasted. The machine does the machine’s work; your people do the work only people can do.

  2. Shift Two

    Begin by listening, you first.

One hour with each person before any tool is chosen, and the first hour is yours. What matters to each of them is where the AI begins, and what matters to you is where the company’s AI begins.

  3. Shift Three

One door, one owner, one real decision.

You sponsor it. One person inside carries it. One process is taken end to end in ninety days, chosen where the need is already alive, and it works before anything else is touched.

  4. Shift Four

    Two memories, one promise.

What each person says to their AI is private and never reaches a manager. What the company remembers is only what is shared: how things are moving, where they are stuck, and what has been promised. The AI never acts on anyone’s behalf.

  5. Shift Five

Build the habit, not the dashboard.

The skills of working together, saying what is stuck and handling moods are grown in your people, and the AI stays on inside the conversations they already have. Keep your tools. You never have to update it.

So we do both at once

We come in as your Chief AI Officer. We learn your business, assess the threats and opportunities AI brings, and build the AI your company and your products actually need. At the same time, every person it touches gets their own private AI coach, trained by us, to work through whatever is stuck, with a human coach beside the team when the change gets hard. What they say in private is never shared with management. You see how the company is moving. They become more capable than they have ever been.

And we don’t leave when the build is done. COROS stays on, alongside every person and alongside you. Keep your tools. You never have to update it. It listens to the conversations your company already has, hears what is moving and what is stuck, and reminds each person of what matters to them.

The result is a company that leads its market, with people who grow alongside the machine instead of fearing it.

The first ninety days

One season, one process, one promise.

  1. 01 · Weeks 1 to 2

    Listen

An hour with you, then an hour with each person the work will touch. We leave with the three things that must go well this year and the one place AI can move the business now.

  2. 02 · Weeks 2 to 3

    Assess

A plain reading of where AI helps, where it harms, and what it will cost. One door is chosen, one champion is named, and the ninety-day promise is written in a sentence you can check.

  3. 03 · Weeks 3 to 10

    Build

We build the AI for that one process, in your company or your product. Everyone it touches gets their own private AI coach from day one, and a human coach sits beside the team when the change gets hard.

  4. 04 · Weeks 10 to 13

    Prove

The promise is met or it is not, in front of you. You see how the company is moving and how the people are growing. You renew on evidence, not on mood.

After that, the officer stays on retainer, the next door opens, and COROS stays on.

Who this is for

The owner-CEO of a company that is not a technology company.

Fifty to five hundred people, built on people serving people, with no CTO and no technical co-founder, which is exactly why there is no one to own AI. You have already decided AI must come in, you may have tried one thing that did not take, and you can feel that your people are afraid. We work in the Pacific Northwest first, because the work wants a room.

Not for

  • A company with a CTO and an AI team of its own.
  • A company whose plan is to cut headcount.
  • A buyer who wants a tool installed and nothing else.

This isn’t for every CEO.

If you want a vendor to install a tool, there are a thousand shops for that. If your plan is to replace your people, we’re not your partner. But if you believe your people have more in them than their circumstances show, and you want to be the company that proves it, let’s talk.
