AI Designer
Why This Role Exists
While typical designers focus on visuals, UX flows, or technical constraints, our AI Designer expands on how we see the human being. They dive into biology, philosophy, and the question of human-AI collaboration to shape a new breed of products—where AI isn’t just a tool but a partner, friend, and coach, all at once.
What You’ll Do
Reinvent What “Design” Means
Explore and define new approaches to human-AI relationships, pulling inspiration from biology, philosophy, and emerging design fields.
Think beyond conventional design frameworks taught in colleges—stay open to new interpretations (not just math or physics but biologically inspired and ontologically grounded design).
Collaborative Product & Interface Work
Work with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, philosophy) to create AI-powered interfaces that genuinely enhance human capability.
Produce sketches, wireframes, and prototypes using tools like Figma, Framer, Webflow, or Adobe platforms.
Human Habit Formation & Visual Craft
Focus on building systems that shift human behavior, forming new habits and styles of interaction with AI.
Ensure the “front end” is beautiful, engaging, and coherent—but also push beyond visuals to address deeper questions of user engagement, emotional resonance, and ethical design.
End-to-End Implementation
Follow the entire life cycle: from early ideation and sketches to final product releases.
Collaborate with engineers to refine and iterate constantly, open to multiple feedback loops and rapid prototypes.
Philosophical & Interdisciplinary Conversations
Engage with our philosophy and thinking teams to imagine how design can genuinely transform how people see themselves, work, and relationships.
Join ongoing debates: “What is AI? What is a human being? Can AI save humanity or complicate it further? Where do privacy and ethics fit in?”
Who You Are
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design (or a related field). Real-world experience can trump formal education—show us your portfolio!
Deep curiosity about how humans interact with technology (AI in particular) and a willingness to explore beyond standard design philosophies.
Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Framer, Webflow, Adobe Suite, etc.)—with an openness to experimenting in new platforms.
Collaborative spirit: comfortable working with product leads, engineers, philosophers, and cross-discipline teams.
Able to “draw” or visually communicate new design concepts quickly—lo-fi or hi-fi.
Strong sense of responsibility for user privacy, psychological well-being, and ethical design.
Bonus Points
Interest in second-order cybernetics.
Experience with AI-driven user interfaces or generative AI prototypes.
Background in coaching, facilitation, or transformative practices (not required but definitely intriguing).
